Dietary Aide Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
- Serve meals to residents, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to dietary restrictions.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas, including dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining proper food storage and handling practices.
- Follow dietary guidelines and resident preferences to provide quality meal service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, dietary staff, and nursing teams to meet resident needs.
Dietary Aide Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Compassionate, caring, and customer-focused attitude.
