Responsibilities Activity Director and Social Services Director
- Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
- Create and maintain an activity calendar, ensuring a variety of programs that meet residents' physical, social, and emotional needs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Conduct assessments to determine residents' social needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support to residents and assist with resolving concerns or challenges.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents’ overall well-being.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to activities and social services.
- Certification as an Activity Director (required).
- Experience in planning and coordinating activities, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with residents, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of resident rights and care regulations.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for improving the lives of residents in a caring and professional manner.
