We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled health care professionals at our skilled nursing facility in Flushing, Queens!
Job responsibilities include :
- Provide occupational therapy to residents.
- Develop and improve the skills needed for the daily functioning of residents.
- Accurately completes and documents all treatment procedures and functional mobility tasks in a timely manner.
- Establish a plan of care in accordance with patients’ needs and capabilities.
- Apply interventions to maximize performance for daily living and instrumental activities.
- Prepare documentation, progress notes, reports and discharge summaries as required.
