The Pavilion at Queens Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dietary Supervisor to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled health care professionals at our skilled nursing facility in Flushing, Queens!
Qualification/Responsibilities:
- Experienced Dietary Food Manager
- Must be a Certified Dietary manager possessing a current CDM certification
- Must have 1 year Long Term Care experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong Managerial skills
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the dietary department as well as its programs and activities
- Supervise staff in the day-to-day operation of the Dietary Department
- Orient new staff and participate in recruitment and selection of dietary staff
- Review therapeutic and regular diet plans and menus to assure they are in compliance with physician’s orders
- Ensure equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and orderly, and strict adherence to procedures regarding cleaners or hazardous materials or objects

Schedule: Monday to Friday. 12pm - 9pm
