The Pavilion at Queens Rehabilitation & Nursing is looking for an energetic, responsible and compassionate individual to join our dynamic recreation team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist residents to and from a variety of activities.
- Create and implement and activity calendar that meets the needs of the residents on the unit.
- Participate in resident centered events such as birthdays, bingo, trivia, crafts and a variety of other group activities.
- Accurately document in clinical charts and daily attendance. Experience is a must.
- Perform other duties under the direction of the Direction of recreation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Responsible and reliable.
- Comfortable working with a senior population.
- Positive, cheerful and helpful attitude.
- Work well as a member of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Weekend and holiday availability.
- Prior recreation experience preferred.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Cantonese or Mandarin required
Schedule: Flexible. Howevever, the preferred schedule is Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
