Mobile Asssessor Supervisor

The Pavilion is seeking a Full Time Mobile Crisis Supervisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities include:
The Mobile Crisis Supervisor will oversee the Mobile Crisis Specialists in their day to day tasks. This position will also perform the duties of the Mobile Crisis Specialist when the need arises.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Participate and lead the training and orientation of new staff and interns
- Complete a monthly schedule for Mobile Crisis staff
- Oversee departmental performance improvement initiatives
- Conduct audits of documentation
- Perform corrective action oversight as deemed appropriate by the Director of Assessment
- Perform any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Director of Assessment
- Provide triage service in a sensitive and responsive fashion for Mobile Crisis.
- Complete screening and assessment, including demographic and clinical information.
- Educate referral sources on The Pavilion and other available services in part to minimize the occurrence of crisis.
- Provide appropriate information and/or crisis intervention services to the caller over the phone.
- When necessary, interview the patient and/or significant others to explore alternative modes of care consistent with the least restrictive treatment model.
- Consult with on-call psychiatrist or New Choice M.D.
- Be responsible for completion of admitting paperwork/assessment report.
- Screen and assess all potential admissions by means of a face-to-face contact.
- Advise inpatient units of impending admissions.
- Data entry.
- Precertification of patient insurance.
- Complete consultation with other professionals and provide off-site assessments as requested and feasible.
- Works with Business Office in verifying insurance benefits.
- Projects a positive image of The Pavilion by being courteous, helpful, friendly and professional in relationships with patients, and their families, visitors, co-workers and the community.
- Compile paperwork for all contacts so that appropriate records are maintained and available.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Required:Master’s in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or closely related field
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION:
Preferred licensed or under supervision in state of Kentucky (CSW/LCSW CADC/LCADC, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, LPP)
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: One to three years inpatient behavioral health work, Preferred 2 years experience in psychological and chemical dependency assessment.
