Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to a variety of pets. Your love for animals and attention to detail will ensure that each pet leaves feeling clean, refreshed, and happy. This position requires strong customer service skills, as you will interact with pet owners to ensure their needs are met.
Duties
- Bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs and preferences.
- Handle animals safely and comfortably, ensuring their well-being during the bathing process.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools.
- Assist in the restraint of animals during grooming procedures as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs.
- Observe pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort and report findings to the appropriate staff.
- Assist with heavy lifting of larger animals when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided to each pet.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bather or experience with animals is preferred but not required
- Strong skills in animal handling and care, including knowledge of animal restraint techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, particularly with larger breeds.
- Familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
