Objectives of this Role
- Represent PCA and its portfolio of brands to target retailers with clear professional dialogue and excellent follow up.
- Working directly with Senior PCA Management and Brand Management to build and execute effective sales and marketing plans for each brand and targeted retail partners with an emphasis on peak periods and seasonality.
- Maintain an updated understanding of the planning schedules of each mass and FDM retailer to be able to present PCAs portfolio of brands at the appropriate seasonal time slot
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing team all needed support for the online business units of our retail partners

- Build and manage a team of top-quality Manufacturer Rep teams that work directly with specific retail accounts as needed
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with our retail partners through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and planning future performance.
- Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives and fully understand goals and KPIs.
- Generate new ideas and create plans to increase the sales of PCAs brand portfolio.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Create, execute, monitor, and communicate a strategic sales plan for specific PCA brands that expands its customer base and enables the sales team to realize wholesale shipment and retail sell-through objectives.
- Communicate and meet frequently with existing and potential retail partners to build long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs and presenting sales opportunities for PCAs brand portfolio.
- Working with PCAs Account Managers, plan, track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics for all brands by retail partnership
- Recruit qualified candidates to fill approved roles within the PCA sales team, set objectives, train, coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled.
- Organize seasonal and periodic market week meetings and presentations with all retail partners.
- Work directly with PCA purchasing to ensure adequate supply of direct and non-direct product lines to meet individual account programs
- Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher education
- 7 years in cosmetics and/or fragrance sales management in the mass/masstige channels at a Regional and/or National level
- Proven track record of building retail sales with relevant brands in the mass and masstige channels of distribution
- Proven track record of working with Manufacturers Rep organizations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated excellent leadership ability with strong retail relationships.
- Ability to travel at least 30-40% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both the retailer and manufacturer sides of the cosmetic/fragrance business
- Proven track record in building a sales team from the ground up.
- Experience in both the direct and non-direct sales channels
