Created 36 years ago, the PCA Group of Companies (PCA) is a privately-owned, global beauty holding company. Currently being led by the founders and the next generation of the family, the Group spans ~1500 employees in 5 geographic locations around the world, focused on omnichannel distribution and fulfillment for the beauty category. Multiple subsidiaries with a distinct leadership, business direction, and separate financial structure.
Role Summary:
The Senior QA Tester will be responsible for coordinating QA feature testing efforts in several projects. As a part of the Information Technology team, you will work closely with our other IT team members to ensure that we are delivering high-quality experiences. TheSenior QA Tester will be responsible for planning, creating, implementing, and executing testing for core areas of our organization.
This is an in-person position based in Ronkonkoma, NY.
Working hours are 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage comprehensive test plans, including estimates, schedules, timelines, test cases, and execution runs.

Partner closely with Technical Project Managers (TPMs), external QA teams, and internal developers to track and resolve defects throughout the development lifecycle.

Lead the design and execution of test cases for new features, ensuring functionality, stability, and user experience meet the highest standards.

Communicate test progress, results, and blockers to project leads and production teams.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with QA leadership to refine and enhance QA processes.
Qualifications:

4 years of experience in manual QA testing (exceptional candidates with less experience will also be considered).

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Proven experience creating and executing effective test strategies, particularly for games or consumer-facing products.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a natural curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.

Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Strong communication skillsable to articulate ideas clearly in verbal, written, and interpersonal formats.

Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, etc., preferred
