Step into a leadership role with The Peach Truck as a Lead Slinger, where you’ll guide a team of energetic Peach Slingers to deliver the iconic Peach Truck experience. Your role is pivotal in creating unforgettable moments for customers, ensuring seamless operations, and fostering a joyful, collaborative work environment.
As a Lead Slinger, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations at stops within your market, combining hands-on service with leadership to meet the needs of customers and your team. From setup to teardown, you’ll lead by example, embodying the values and energy that make The Peach Truck a beloved summer tradition. This seasonal role runs from early May through early September, making it the perfect opportunity to lead during the sweetest time of the year.
What You’ll Do
- Inspire the Team: Motivate and mentor a team of Peach Slingers, ensuring every team member delivers exceptional service and embodies The Peach Truck’s values.
- Own the Setup: Oversee the setup and teardown of each stop, including organizing tables, tents, and equipment (50 lbs), ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Deliver Service Excellence: Support the team in creating a welcoming experience, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining high service standards.
- Problem-Solve Like a Pro: Step in to de-escalate issues, recover customer experiences, and keep operations running without a hitch.
- Keep Things Moving: Manage inventory, assist with logistics, and ensure efficiency at every stop.
- Develop Your Team: Provide feedback and coaching to help team members grow and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Be Flexible: Adapt to changing schedules and challenges with a positive, can-do attitude.
What You Bring
- Leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- A welcoming and helpful attitude, combined with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors, rain or shine.
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a personal smartphone. Must be 21 and have a clean driving record for our insurance.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday is a must!) and adapt to a flexible schedule, including holidays.
- Proven ability to thrive under pressure, balancing customer needs and team dynamics.
