Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of food preparation and presentation. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards for excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food handling and sanitation guidelines are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Assist in menu planning and food production to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff as needed, providing guidance and support during service.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role within the restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, culinary techniques, and fine dining standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in food service management or supervising kitchen staff is advantageous.
  • A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dishes is essential.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
