Peddie School Varsity Swimming Assistant Coach
Position Description
Peddie is seeking a part-time assistant swim coach to join our energetic and passionate staff to assist with coaching our 40-50 member coed Varsity team. Peddie School is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Prep League and boasts a strong swimming tradition and dedicated student-athletes on a 280 acre campus in Mercer County just outside of Princeton, NJ.
Responsibilities

Assist the Head coach in all aspects of operating a high level program during Fall, Winter, and Spring interscholastic seasons.

Operate as a member of the Peddie Athletic Department staff delivering the school wide mission of the Peddie School and can deliver an educational experience through athletics

Mentor our student-athletes and implement a progressive seasonal plan alongside the Head Coach that offers competitive advantage to student-athletes; inclusive of managing training plans, daily practices, and collaboration with our strength and conditioning coaches

Actively search and engage in professional development
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university

Proven experience developing swimmers across various events

Collegiate and/or international Swimming experience preferred

An eagerness to coach and mentor with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic with an eye for developing student-athletes
