Responsibilities:
- Implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Providing one-on-one therapy sessions with children, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management
- Collecting data and tracking progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes
- Collaborating with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify treatment plans
- Assisting in the preparation of materials and resources for therapy sessions
- Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of sessions and progress reports
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred)
- Experience working with children, preferably in a therapeutic or educational setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children with developmental challenges
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior management techniques
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Reliable transportation to travel to different therapy locations, as required
