About the Role
Some of our most fond childhood memories are formed at holiday events with family, visiting Santa and painting pumpkins or at summer camp, jumping into the lake and playing games with our favorite camp counselors.
At The Peninsula Club, our Family Activities program is dedicated to creating these experiences for our membership and their families. From Swim Team to Craft Days, Daily Child Watch and Children Events in between – our club is a place for our members and their families to have fun and make memories they’ll remember for a lifetime.
The primary role of the Children's Activity Leader is to facilitate childcare in our Kids’ Club program, Parent Survival Nights, children’s programs, and all the fun events in between!
The ideal candidate must have a flexible schedule. This position offers 20-25 hours per week. Availability Monday - Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Friday evenings 4:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., and some Saturday events 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Your Contribution to Our Team Includes:
-Building strong, trusting and fun relationships with our membership, their children & the Activities team members
-Providing childcare for our Kid's Club & Parents Survival Night programs
-Executing themed holiday/weekend events for various age groups

Must-have Minimum Qualifications:
-Previous experience working with children
-Clear background screening and employment authorized
-A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
-Some holiday & weekend availability is a must
-CPR/First Aid certification is a plus!
About Our Club
The Peninsula Club is a stunning country club sprawling along eleven miles of the Lake Norman shoreline in Cornelius, N.C. The Club was purchased by the members in the year 2000, and it provides a casual, resort type atmosphere with events and activities for members of all ages, from toddlers to our seasoned, retired members.
