About the Role
The Golf Shop is at the heart of The Peninsula Club’s golf activities and offerings and serves as a home base for our golf members, their families and guests to book tee times and lessons, purchase the latest golf fashion and merchandise and stay up to date on all things Peninsula Club golf-related.
Our Golf Shop Attendant takes pride in maintaining the golf shop to create a memorable first impression and serves as the liaison for all member services, products, and information in the golf shop. This is a seasonal position.
Pay: $12.00 – $14.00/hour
Job Type: Seasonal
Schedule/Shift: Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Your Contribution to Our Team Includes:
- Responding to all member inquiries in-person and via telephone such as: booking tee times, event registrations and answering questions related to the golf operation including course conditions, department events and programs
- Set the stage by ensuring the golf shop and all associated areas of the golf operation are set for success to create a memorable first impression from open to close
- Performing merchandising duties such as receiving, pricing, displaying, and restocking inventory
- Checking in players prior to play and ensure all charges such as club repairs, merchandise purchases and fees are recorded and charged accurately
- Remaining flexible and providing support as needed to the golf team

Must-Have Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to successfully pass our pre-employment process, including a background screening and valid employment authorization (e-verify procedures)
- A valid driver's license must be presented
