Description
Create a safe and inclusive environment for children to enjoy their camp experience. Counselors will assist with crafts, physical activities (pool time, PE exercises), and guiding children to various programs throughout the Club. Responsibilities also include assisting with snack time, lunch, and engaging in educational opportunities (e.g., ASL). The primary focus is ensuring the safety and well-being of all children by maintaining awareness of their locations at all times. Leadership opportunities and promotions are available for those who demonstrate exceptional responsibility and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with campers to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Assist with activities, including crafts, sports, swimming, and educational programs.
- Monitor and facilitate snack time, lunch, and transitions between activities.
- Maintain awareness of camper locations at all times and uphold safety protocols.
- Walk campers to and from tennis, golf, and other scheduled programs.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all participants.
- Collaborate with fellow counselors and camp staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
