This position helps to oversee and manage the all-day camps at The Peninsula Golf and Country Club. This includes logistics, employees, and the children who attend. Duties include interacting with and supervising children, parent communication, scheduling, leading activities, and most importantly, safety of all participants. The Summer Camp Manager will inspire and motivate those around them, helping build the summer camp program as a whole, and to mentor any employees that they may help supervise.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the Club's summer camp program, overseeing operations and staff for seven weeks.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive summer curriculum for over 100 children, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of 20 counselors, aged 16-18, providing guidance and leadership throughout the program.
- Conduct performance reviews, address underperformance, and ensure a high standard of camp operations.
