Summary
Responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles across the organization. This position will manage 15-20 open roles at a time. Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to meet staffing needs, managing the full lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding. This includes proactively identifying candidates, building relationships with external partners, and attending career fairs (up to 25% travel). Ensuring a smooth transition for new hires, handling documentation, orientation, and feedback. Tracking recruitment metrics, maintaining clear candidate communication, and supporting the company’s brand and hiring goals. Work closely with HR to implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, recognition, and retention

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting experience, ideally within a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
- Familiarity with a variety of sourcing methods, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and recruitment tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and hiring managers effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently while collaborating with team members.
- Willingness to travel nationwide up to 25% of the time to support outreach efforts and build relationships with external partners.
- Familiarity with Paylocity Applicant Tracking System, preferred.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet staffing needs, managing the full recruitment life cycle (job posting, sourcing, resume review, prescreening, interviewing, offer, orientation and onboarding).
- Proactively source and engage candidates using a variety of methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and partnerships with relevant organizations.
- Identify and utilize sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and networking, to attract qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners, community organizations, and educational institutions.
- Manage the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to the first day, including orientation, equipment, and access setup.
- Handle compliance-related tasks such as tracking employee clearances, licenses, certifications, TB tests, drug screenings and maintaining I-9 records.
- Collaborate with HR to enhance employee recognition and retention programs, tracking engagement and recommending improvements.
- Handle employee ID badge creation, troubleshoot access issues.
- Maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive recruitment experience and supporting the organization’s employer brand and reputation. Support the organization’s brand by presenting a professional and positive image to all.
- Track recruitment and retention metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate satisfaction) and report to the HR Director on progress and challenges.
- Ensure all pre-employment documentation, references, and clearances are completed for new hires.
- Conduct outreach, attend career fairs, and represent the organization at industry events (up to 25% travel).
- Collect feedback from new hires, hiring managers, and candidates after interviews to continuously improve the onboarding process and foster relationships for future opportunities
- Regularly update the HR Director on recruitment progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when traveling to job fairs, setting up booths, handling marketing collateral, or any other recruiting items.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while working at a computer or attending meetings.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating standard office equipment.
- Occasional travel (up to 25%) may be required, which may involve driving or flying and transporting recruiting materials.
- Ability to navigate and be present in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments (e.g., schools, career fairs, conferences).
