JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Nittany Lions Read/Nittany Lions Count Federal Work-Study Program (NLR/NLC) is seeking applicants to support adult and family literacy programs both on campus and within the community, including Lifelink PSU, Mid-State Literacy Council, and Family and Career Pathways.

NLR/NLC students assist and support the staff, engage directly with the clients, and provide one-on-one and/or small-group instruction. Specific schedules will be determined at placement. Hourly rates for NLR/NLC students for the 24/25 academic year begin at $14/hour.

This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:

* PA State Police Criminal Background Check
* PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
* FBI Criminal Background Check.
