JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Engineering Career Resources & Employer Relations Office in the College of Engineering is seeking candidates for Part-Time Engineering Career Envoy positions. These part-time, student positions will have multifaceted responsibilities in the following areas:
Student peer mentoring
Classroom presentations
Data collection
General office duties (customer service, data entry, project assignments, etc.)
Career Envoys represent Engineering Career Resources and should have the ability to work in a team environment, demonstrate a positive attitude, and act in a professional manner. This is a part-time position working up to 10 hours per week with a starting rate of $12/hour. Work hours take place between 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. on weekdays with some evening or weekend hours to assist with special events.Candidates must submit a cover letter and resume.
All candidates are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to applicants who:
Are pursuing a degree in engineering.
Have previous engineering internship/co-op/research experience.
Understand the mechanisms that Penn State provides to connect students to potential employers.
Candidates must be available to work weekends. Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
