JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
School of theatre is seeking to hire up to six (6) work-study students to perform the job of Theatre Ushers for all School of Theatre Penn State Center Stage Performances for the 2022/23 AY.
MUST BE AVAILABLE Weeknights and weekends.
Benefits include getting to see all School of Theatre Penn State Centre Stage shows for free.
Duties will include:
- Ensure a high quality of customer service
- Be the point of contact for customer enquiries
- Ensure the safety of all audience members
- Welcome the audience into the building
- Guide audience members in the right direction
- Attend to automated ticket scanning station at point of entrance
- Ensure the front of house area looks presentable and tidy at all times
Hours per week will vary, all hours will be worked nights and weekends. Approximate hours per shift - 4.
