JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University is accepting applications for an undergraduate researcher position. The researcher will be asked to investigate hydrogel and fiber actuators. The successful applicants will prepare hydrogel and actuating fibers and measure the mechanical properties. Data management and computer-based data analysis skills are required. Strong communication skills are also required to support collaborative work.
