We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Supply Chain Management and Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations. This role is critical to ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery of products, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement across all supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Management :
Optimize and execute supply chain initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and evolving market demands.
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure a seamless supply chain process.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective measures.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost effective and quality service.
Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and reduce carrying costs.
Logistics Management :
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to shipping, customs, and safety.
Implement and maintain logistics systems and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Manage the reverse logistics process, including returns, repairs, and recycling.
Budgeting and Cost Management :
Develop and manage the supply chain and logistics budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or service.
Analyze financial data to track spending and ROI of supply chain initiatives.
Risk Management :
Identify potential risks within the supply chain and logistics operations and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor market trends and disruptions to proactively adjust supply chain plans.
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a similar role.
Proven track record of managing and optimizing supply chain and logistics operations in a fast paced environment.
Skills and Competencies :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., Netsuite, or equivalent) and logistics technologies.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to logistics and international shipping.
Work Environment :
Office-based with occasional travel to supplier sites, warehouses, and distribution centers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
