Job Description
We are representing a prestigious, global law firm that is seeking a midlevel associate to join their dynamic Corporate M&A team in Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney with 3-5 years of experience in corporate M&A, particularly in private equity transactions, to take on substantial responsibilities and work on complex transactions.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate M&A agreements, including merger agreements, stock and asset purchase agreements, and letters of intent.
- Work on private equity transactions and related agreements, such as partnership agreements, joint ventures, and LLC operating agreements.
- Conduct due diligence and provide guidance on general corporate and business matters.
- Participate in the Representation and Warranty Insurance underwriting process.
- 3-5 years of experience in Corporate M&A, with private equity transaction experience preferred.
- Strong drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple aspects of complex deals and work collaboratively with clients and team members.
- Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record in handling high-quality transactional work.
- Base Salary Range: $265,000 β $350,000/year (based on experience and qualifications). Discretionary bonuses may also apply.
