The People Placers is seeking a talented New Business Acquisition Lead to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading our new business acquisition efforts, identifying and securing new business opportunities within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
As a New Business Acquisition Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for existing and potential clients, providing them with exceptional service and support to meet their sales and business development needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence and penetrate new accounts.
- Lead our new business acquisition efforts, identifying and securing new business opportunities within the CPG sector.
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions to align with company offerings.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-10 years of sales experience in the CPG industry.
- Proven track record as a 'sales hunter' with demonstrated success in driving new business and achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
- Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify new opportunities and develop strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software to manage leads, track performance, and report results.
