What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Supervisor position at The People's Federal Credit Union?
We are looking for a special candidate to fill a critical position. Do you have 3 years of documented supervisor experience? Have you worked in the accounting field for 3 years? Better yet, have you worked in the accounting area of a financial institution for 3 years?
If so, we want to talk to you. We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor. Someone who can oversee the department personnel while performing some high level accounting functions. The candidate we choose will be responsible for:
- Supervising the personnel in the accounting department. This includes performance appraisals, training and development, coaching, managing time off, and time sheets. Also, making recommendations to the CFO with respect to hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers.
- Overseeing various financial activities including bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintaining subsidiary records and posting data to the general ledger; maintaining records of investment portfolio and performing the balancing of the daily VISA reports.
- Preparing reconciliations of corporate cash management and uncollected federal deposit accounts.
