What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Processor/Quality Control position at The People's Federal Credit Union?
As a Loan Processor/Quality Control (LP/QA) at our credit union, you will guide members through the loan application process, providing exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities include:
- Receiving, reviewing, and processing loan applications accurately.
- Communicating loan details, answering member questions, and quoting rates.
- Conducting loan closings and ensuring all documents are completed correctly.
- Working with loan officers and underwriters to ensure accuracy in applications.
- Helping members find the best loan solutions based on their needs.
- Collecting necessary information for underwriting decisions and relaying outcomes to members.
- Preparing and verifying loan and lien holder documents.
This role requires strong communication, time management, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
Experience in consumer lending at a financial institution is preferred but not required. You need to be comfortable dealing with customers face to face and over the phone. Phone etiquette, multitasking and computer skills are necessary.
