Overview
The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordination, and management of activities to create supportive and empowering community environments for individuals seeking positive changes related to their substance use. The role will also involve networking, building relationships and disseminating information to regional agencies, groups and providers.

Location
This role will be based in LaSalle, IL and will require moderate travel throughout the Perfectly Flawed service area. This includes all or parts of LaSalle, Bureau, Putnam, Marshall, Livingston, Lee, Henry and neighboring counties. This role will also work remotely with statewide agencies and partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Recruit, manage, and coordinate a social and wellness activities committee to plan monthly, quarterly and yearly activities.
- Work with committee members to establish core values and guidelines promoting a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
- Create and submit a monthly activity plan to the supervisor for approval.
- Identify and recruit team members and volunteers to assist in leading and coordinating events.
- Engage and delegate responsibilities to committee members and volunteers as needed.
- Serve as a lead chaperone for events, activities and hikes.
- Coordinate logistics for events including drivers, chaperones, and budget.
- Organize tasks such as gathering supplies, reserving spaces, and purchasing tickets.
- Coordinate office decorations with team members and volunteers for holidays and special events.
- Keep inventory, organize, and manage supplies and decorations for activities.
- Collaborate with PFF team members to disseminate information and coordinate scheduling.
- Work with PFF support and harm reduction team members to facilitate warm hand-offs for people requesting additional services and support.
- Coordinate sign-up sheets, meeting times, locations, and details for events.
- Create an event calendar and maintain a list of upcoming events.
- Assist in coordinating and attend PFF sponsored community nights and co-facilitate weekly support group meetings as needed.
- Manage activities and schedule for the community garden.
- Create content for flyers and social media posts.
- Manage the quarterly budget and costs for events and activities.
- Empower and uplift individuals through engagement activities.
- Log activity and attendance in the internal data platform.
- Ensure activities are inclusive of people with disabilities and include a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
- Coordinate and promote Overdose Awareness events and activities in the month of August and the "Perfectly Flawed Wellness Challenge" in the month of September.
- Coordinate the winter clothing drive, the Giving Tree gift drive, and occasional supply drive.
- Identify and collaborate with community members and partner agencies to host activities.
- Coordinate designated rides with PFF team members and volunteers during events using the PFF "Celebrate Responsibly" vehicle.
- Document all outreach activities, interactions, and outcomes into our online database ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
