Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating an exceptional experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean environment. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Handle food safely and adhere to food safety regulations at all times.
• Operate the Aloha POS system for order taking, processing payments, and managing sales transactions.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and upsell menu items when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately at the POS system.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
