About The Perlman Music Program Suncoast
The Perlman Music Program Suncoast offers the greater Sarasota community classical music performances and educational outreach programs for audiences of all ages. The annual 2-week PMP Winter Residency, founded by Itzhak Perlman, a world-renowned violinist, held at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee Campus trains gifted young string musicians from all over the world. The signature event is a Celebration Concert by the students and a Dinner Gala. Throughout the season, alumni of the program perform concerts in venues and provide outreach programs to schools in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Role Description
This is a contracted position for a Marketing and Development Consultant located in Sarasota, FL with the flexibility of remote work. The candidate will be responsible for helping to develop marketing strategies, effective communication, development initiatives with the goals of audience building and funding sources.
Qualifications
- Experience and success in marketing and development
- Effective Communication skills
- Experience in program marketing campaigns and implementation
- Arts industry non-profit experience a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Music, or related field
