What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Developer position at The Perryman Company?
The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Developer will work with team members to design, develop, and maintain the company’s ERP and other systems. They will work with all departments to understand requirements and provide solutions or training.
Key Accountabilities
- Support and oversee ERP and other systems projects.
- Ensure that ERP and other systems are integrated and aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with departmental teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of ERP and other systems.
- Supervise the installation, configuration, integration, and customization of the ERP and other systems.
- Conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing of the systems.
- Provide training and support to the system users.
- Drive process improvements leveraging the overall system/software landscape.
- Provide support and development of BI dashboards. Focusing on sales, finance, manufacturing, purchasing, costing and inventory.
- Other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field required.
- Willingness to learn the manufacturing business and legacy ERP system.
- 1 years of experience in ERP, systems management and implementation, or programming.
- Experience with Openedge/Progress DB, Python, SQL, Qlik, or C
- Knowledge of ERP and other system functionalities, modules, and best practices preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines.
- Stong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- This position will work on-site.
