Job Description:
As a Pest Control Technician at The Pest Detective, you will be the frontline expert in identifying, treating, and preventing pest infestations. You will work independently to inspect properties, develop treatment plans, and communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect Properties: Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify signs of pest infestations such as insects, rodents, and termites.
- Treatment Application: Safely apply pesticides, traps, and other methods to control or eradicate pests according to state and federal regulations.
- Customer Communication: Address any concerns or questions with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintain Records: Accurately document all inspections, treatments, and customer interactions. Prepare detailed reports and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Safety Compliance: Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols. Stay updated on best practices and new pest control methods.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained. Keep the company vehicle clean and stocked with necessary supplies.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Arkansas Pest Control Technician license or willingness to obtain one (we provide training).
- Previous experience in pest control is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Physical ability to perform inspections, including climbing, crawling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
