The Pet Hospitals is now hiring a Groomer to join their amazing team!
The Ideal Candidate:
- Is a whiz with clippers
- An artist with scissors
- Been called a "Dog Whisperer" more than a few times
Applicants must also:
- Must be able to travel between locations
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Have prior experience with dog and cat grooming
- Know various cuts, trims, and styles for all breeds, canine and feline
- Have a friendly & outgoing personality
- Feel comfortable working with pets of all temperaments
- Be punctual
- Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
- Provide photos of past grooms
As a Pet Groomer, your responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining detailed client instructions at drop-off and pick-up
- Bathing, brushing, clipping, and the proper care and inspection of dogs and cats
- Nail trims, nail grinding, anal gland expression, teeth brushing
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas at all times including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning grooming condos. and removal of the trash.
- Booking future grooming appointments with clients
