The Pet Pantry is a small but growing, local, family owned pet supply business in Freeport.
We are located right off the interstate, less than 15 miles from Portland or Brunswick.

THIS IS A YEAR 'ROUND POSITION. Daytime weekdays and some weekend availability is a must.
We are seeking a mature, hardworking Sales Associate for 16-32 hours per week to join our great little team. There may be an opportunity to move into a key holder position for the right person.

Duties include but are not limited to: helping customers select products for their pets, handling cash register/phone duties, putting away merchandise & cleaning/store maintenance. Mature candidates should have some retail/sales/customer service experience, possess excellent customer service skills, have a pleasant, outgoing personality, be a quick learner, able to take direction and work independently as well with the rest of the team and must be punctual/reliable.
Accurately labeling and putting away pet food/treats etc. in an organized manner and be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, often repeatedly is required.
Position requires the ability to climb stairs, sometimes with bags of food, boxes & merchandise.
