The IT Specialist will be responsible for supporting all technical functions that ensure operational continuity at The Pharmacy Hub. This role will execute IT initiatives, provide daily technical support, manage hardware and software systems, and help ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating across departments to enhance workflow efficiency and support the organization’s mission to redefine healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain hardware inventory, including procurement, configuration, and reporting
- Provide daily technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the organization
- Act as project manager or contributor for IT initiatives, coordinating cross-functional collaboration and ensuring timely execution
- Create and maintain standardized and custom reports for internal teams and third-party stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to automate recurring tasks and optimize workflows
- Evaluate current IT infrastructure and recommend improvements for scalability, efficiency, and compliance
- Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, security protocols, and company SOPs
- Support billing-related technology processes, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
- Participate in special initiatives or technology rollouts as assigned by leadership
- At least 1 year of experience in an IT support or specialist role
- CompTIA A Certification is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and email communication
- High attention to detail, especially in handling data and billing-related functions
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Fluent in English; Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evening shifts (3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.)
- Experience in healthcare, clinical, or pharmacy settings is a plus
- Background in IT project management or systems implementation is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with both technical and non-technical teams
