What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interactive Designer / Developer position at The Philadelphia Inquirer?
We're looking for a designer and front-end developer with at least three years of media experience to join the Interactives Desk at The Philadelphia Inquirer. We need a journalist to help us tell stories in unique ways, built around interactivity. Please submit a cover letter, resume and portfolio with examples of relevant work.
What You'll Do
- Design and build standalone interactive stories - from the initial idea to building the page to publication.
- Pitch and report your own ideas for stories and help shape ideas that come from the newsroom.
- Advocate in the newsroom for telling stories in unique and digital-forward formats.
- Contribute to an inclusive and positive work environment
