JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bartender to join our team and help create an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing beer, wine, liquor and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a friendly, efficient and accommodating atmosphere. Bartenders will serve drinks directly to guests at the bar as well as prepare drinks for Servers to deliver to guests in the Dining Room.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report for shifts as scheduled, dressed in proper uniform.
- Set up, take inventory of and restock bar before the start of service, ensuring all supplies are ready for the shift.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked bar throughout the shift; communicate inventory needs to the Manager as they arise.
- Attend Pre-Shift staff meetings to review the daily menu, expected reservations and shift-specific duties.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure ample supply of garnishes, fruit, and other bar ingredients.
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests at the bar, creating a welcoming atmosphere and engaging in positive, friendly conversations.
- Prepare drinks for Servers to deliver to guests in Dining Room.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area.
- Adhere to sanitation, cleanliness and food service protocols at all times.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/PROFICIENCIES:
- Previous bartending experience preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and other beverage offerings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- RAMP certification required or willingness to obtain (we offer the course if certification is needed).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
