The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local metro Detroit area for the past 30 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates, and employees. We have worked with our current client for the past 20 years and they are looking for an Accounting Clerk for a Contract to Hire opportunity based out of their Downriver, Mi. location.
Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
- Responsible for general ledger reconciliation
- Accounts payable
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Must have accounting software experience
- Data entry
- Will eventually learn billing
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm $22-$24/hr
Accounting Clerk Qualifications:
· Preferred Associate’s degree in accounting or higher
· Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Microsoft GP experience is a plus
