The Phillip Charles Group is a staffing, consulting and talent search firm and we are adding a Recruiter to our highly successful Taylor, MI team. The Phillip Charles Group is a locally owned and operated firm providing full-service job placement services to Southeastern Michigan. We have served the area for the past 34 years and pride ourselves on our long-standing relationships with both our clients, our employees and candidates. As an organization we focus on the office services, accounting, professional, semi-skilled trades, unskilled trades, and logistics sectors of the staffing industry.
Individuals who have backgrounds in retail management (key holder, assistant manager and store manager), inside sales, personal banking, general business to business sales and recent college grads tend to excel in our environment.
This is a fast-paced high energy team-oriented environment requiring exceptional decision making, communication and assessment skills.
The primary responsibilities of the Recruiter are:
- Identify talent in the market
- Recruit candidates who possess the skills needed to fill job openings
- Interview candidates and assess skills through conversation and administering skills assessments
- Perform all onboarding paperwork
- Fully orientate each candidate/employee on our policies and procedures for employment
- Place field employees with client companies
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with clients and candidates
Additional activities a Recruiter performs include:
· Developing relationships with referral sources for candidates,
· Representing candidates interviewed & hired by contacting prospect and client companies to present their credentials over the telephone
· Placing candidates on assignments
· Conducting quality contacts with client companies
· Working alongside the outside sales staff and management to develop and close target accounts as well as working on and implementing key account maintenance programs
Skills and Experience Required:
· Customer Service capabilities
· Prior work in customer facing positions such as Retail Management, Personal Banker, Recruiting and others of similar duties.
· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
· Recent college grads are welcome!
· High School Diploma is required
