Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional care to patients. The Lead Medical Assistant will oversee the daily operations of the medical assistant team, ensure high-quality patient care, and assist in clinical and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, including preparing patients, taking vital signs, administering injections, and performing lab tests.
- Clinical Support: Maintain accurate patient records, process lab orders, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Operational Management: Assist in the coordination of clinic schedules, workflow management, and maintaining inventory of medical supplies.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, ensuring smooth patient flow and optimal outcomes.
- Quality Control: Ensure all medical assistants follow established protocols and best practices to maintain patient safety and high standards of care.
- Customer Service: Address patient concerns, provide education, and ensure that the overall patient experience is positive and supportive.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team and handle conflict resolution.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical office software.
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and office practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
