Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Overview:
This role is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to professionals across the organization. The specialist will troubleshoot software and hardware issues, assist with user account management, and support both onsite and remote technology needs. This position requires collaboration with internal IT teams, external vendors, and end users to ensure smooth technology operations and a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
End User Support:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software applications, operating systems, and hardware components.
- Provide support for company-approved devices, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts, system permissions, and application access as needed.
- Ensure all reported issues are properly logged, tracked, and resolved within service level guidelines.
- Communicate clearly with end users to provide updates, guidance, and solutions.
- Document solutions and contribute to the IT knowledge base for future reference.
System & Network Support:
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting server infrastructure and network configurations.
- Follow company policies when implementing updates or changes to IT systems.
- Support IT security initiatives by ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
- Work with application teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
Meeting, Conference Room & Offsite Support:
- Set up and support audio/visual technology for meetings, video conferences, and events.
- Provide onsite and remote support for offsite meetings, including setup of network devices and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with facilities and administrative teams to ensure seamless technology support for office moves and workstation setups.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College-level coursework or certifications in IT-related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with system administration, networking, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Experience providing technical support in a professional services environment is a plus.
This position may require occasional travel to other locations and availability for after-hours support as needed.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
