Position: Litigation Technology Analyst
Overview:
The Litigation Technology Analyst plays a critical role in managing litigation databases, processing electronic discovery (eDiscovery), and ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of case-related data. This position supports legal teams by handling data ingestion, document management, and technical troubleshooting within litigation technology platforms.
Key Technical Responsibilities:
- Database Management & Support:
- Maintain and update litigation support databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist with data ingestion, indexing, and retrieval within legal review platforms.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any technical issues.
eDiscovery & Data Processing:
- Process electronically stored information (ESI) for litigation review, ensuring proper formatting and metadata integrity.
- Support early case assessment workflows by organizing and preparing data for attorney review.
- Work with structured and unstructured data, handling file conversions and exports.
Document Management & Production:
- Assist in organizing, tagging, and managing litigation-related documents.
- Prepare and generate document productions, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Create and manage load files for document review platforms.
Platform & Tool Expertise:
- Work within litigation support platforms such as IPRO, ECapture, and DISCO.
- Assist in configuring database settings and optimizing platform performance.
- Ensure proper data migration and integration between different litigation tools.
Technical Support & Training:
- Provide technical assistance to attorneys and paralegals on database and document review workflows.
- Troubleshoot software issues related to document processing, searching, and exporting.
Process Optimization & Automation:
- Assist in automating data processing and document organization workflows.
- Improve search functionality and indexing for more efficient document review.
Technical Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in litigation technology, legal IT, or eDiscovery support.
- Hands-on experience working with litigation databases and document management systems.
Technical Proficiency:
Litigation Platforms: Familiarity with IPRO, ECapture, and DISCO (or similar tools).
Data Handling: Understanding of load files, metadata, and file conversion processes.
eDiscovery Process: Knowledge of ESI processing, document redaction, and review workflows.
Troubleshooting & Support: Ability to resolve technical issues related to litigation databases and document processing.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong attention to detail in managing litigation data and document productions.
Ability to handle multiple cases and data sets efficiently.
