Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Paralegal to join their team!
Key Responsibilities:
Estate & Guardianship Proceedings
- Draft pleadings to initiate estate and guardianship court proceedings.
- Maintain and organize files for estate, trust, and guardianship administration.
Document Preparation & Review
- Review estate planning documents, wills, and trusts.
- Prepare trust administration documents, including trustee acceptances, resignations, and declinations.
- Compile trust and estate accounting reports.
Communication & Coordination
- Draft memorandums and correspondence.
- Facilitate communication between attorneys, clients, beneficiaries, and family members.
- Oversee trust and estate accounts, ensuring timely payment of expenses.
Asset & Debt Research
- Research asset and debt details related to trusts and estates.
- Prepare documents for deeds, vehicle transfers, brokerage accounts, and beneficiary distributions.
Tax & Legal Support
- Organize documents for estate, trust, and gift tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns.
- Conduct legal research for estate and guardianship matters.
- Identify and locate trust or estate beneficiaries as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; a degree in Business Administration is preferred.
- At least three (3) years of experience as a Paralegal.
- Expertise in probate, trust administration, and estate settlement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time efficiently.
- A collaborative team player with a positive, cooperative attitude.

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
