What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at The Phoenix Recovery Center, LLC?
The Phoenix Recovery Center is looking to hire a full-time prep cook for our residential inpatient facility. The role of the prep cook is to help prep, cook and serve healthy and nourishing meals for all Residents within the facility. To maintain an overly clean and sanitized kitchen for prepping meals and for the dish ware used to cook and serve meals.
Competency
· Must have experience with prepping and cooking meals for groups.
· Must have a Food Handlers Permit.
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Must be able to pass a background screening with the State of Utah's Department of Human Services
· Must have the ability to shop for materials for meals and to work within a budget.
· Must have the ability to clean up after meals and to keep the cleanliness level of the kitchen up to Health Department standards.
· Ensure all ingredients are in stock for the chef to complete their menu
· Have a strong work ethic, it is important to be on time and at present
Washing cutlery and dishes after meals
· To know and understand company policies and to be able implement and hold firm to those boundaries with residents and staff members.
