We are currently looking for a FULL-TIME licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide clinical coverage as well as perform front office duties for our Stuart location. Individual MUST have a current, valid PTA license in the State of FL.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Responsibilities - Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant:
- Provide hands-on physical therapy to patients using a variety of techniques.
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home care strategies
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, with guidance from supervising Physical Therapist
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of physical therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice
- Participate in marketing programs that educate patients on specific problems.
- Participate in key metric setting and follow up with goals set with colleagues.
Responsibilities- Front Office:
- - Managing all front office duties:
- * Answering phones and greeting everyone with a smile
- * Computerized scheduling using WebPT
- *Basic Microsoft Excel reporting
- * Performing insurance verifications/authorizations
- * Exceptional customer service
- Previous medical experience & understanding of medical insurance preferred.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an associate degree/two-year Physical Therapist Assistant Program approved by Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapist Assistant Education
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida
- A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail--mathematical and data processing
- Data processing proficiency—Practice management software, Microsoft Word
- Communication skills—written, verbal and general interactive
- Organizational skills—priority setting, file maintenance & report generation
