Overview
The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently hiring Electricians and Maintenance Mechanics to join our sweet potato processing facility in Clarksville, AR. This is a two shift production operation with a three shift maintenance schedule. There is currently opportunities on all shifts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with government agencies and internal standards for example FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HARPC, GMPs, Housekeeping, Allergen Segregation, etc.
- Ability to work with moderate supervision, provide maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of ammonia refrigeration systems, compressed air, processing equipment and steam systems.
- Proactive maintenance and refrigeration repairs, mechanical and/or electrical repairs and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and processing equipment.
- Must be able to safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned productionequipment and the ability to effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
- Assist with maintenance shop cleanliness, general cleanup, mobile equipment operations, maintenance to building and grounds, standards plumbing, etc.
- Functional knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag Out
- Maintain facility equipment to minimize operational downtime
- This department is currently working a 3 1/2 days/40 hours work week
- Pay depending upon experience
Qualifications
- Excellent attendance is required
- 1 Years minimum maintenance experience
- 1 years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- 5 years electrical experience
- Journeymans License
- Computer skills - basic computer skills wil be necessary to log information, to process daily work orders and to complete required documentation.
- Basic understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems
- Effective oral communication skills between departments
- Ability to conform to scheduling requirements, possibility of working rotating shifts and be on-call
Salary : $16 - $26
