POSITION OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic catering manager to join our team and help to deliver the highest quality of service to our guests. The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for prospecting, contracting, producing, and overseeing Catering Events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle event inquires, prospecting, proposals, negotiations and contracting according to procedure
- Solicit new and existing catering accounts and opportunities including entertaining, attending industry functions, and maintaining relationships
- Schedule site visits and walk throughs with clients and aid assistance walk -in clients
- Guide clients with appropriate food and beverage selections, room layout, décor, and audio-visual needs as it pertains to each event
- Management of events
- Generating Banquet Event Orders and Floor plans
- Coordinate event details with the culinary, banquet s and service teams to ensure successful events
- Generating a summary of charges for the client and making sure that payment is received for both the deposit and final payment prior to the event
- Inputting of the food and beverage figures into Salesforce to assist in the budget and the projection for the year
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding established goals
