Job Summary
The Business Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting and payroll department. This position is responsible for overseeing administrative functions, managing front desk staff, and providing support to various departments. The ideal candidate will be a team player and possess strong accounting, payroll, and organizational skills as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all office operations run efficiently.
**experience in an Assisted Living environment preferred**
Duties
- A/P and A/R
- Assisted Living office management experience preferred, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Process payroll and maintain employee records accurately.
- Recruiting experience is a plus.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proven experience in office management.
- Staff management.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with medical office management practices, preferably in a senior living setting.
- Proficient in payroll processing and employee record maintenance, as well as all aspects of accounting including entering invoices, resident billing, and collections.
