The Gateway Wisconsin Market is hiring a Full-Time RN Clinical Resource to assist our 2 facilities centralized in Clintonville, WI: The Pines Post Acute and Memory Care and Greentree Health and Rehab; and our newest facility, Wood Aven Health and Rehab, located in Wausau, WI.
Salary: $85,000 to $93,000/yr.
Hours: Typically business hours but may vary depending on workload and travel needs - 40 hrs per week
Job Duties:
- Provides overall support of the nursing departments for 3 skilled nursing facilities in Wisconsin and responsible for supporting the Director of Nursing and Administrator at each facility.
- Helps provide input on, and support for, the implementation of strong clinical systems that result in the highest quality of care.
- Supports the development and implementation of quality assurance measurements and audits, and assists in improving medical management processes throughout the skilled nursing facilities and market by coordinating and engaging in activities to proactively promote implementation of evidence based best practices.
- Monitors, performs, and manages quality assurance processes including those supporting compliance to regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
- May be asked to step in and help with conducting C.N.A classes and nurse training along with continued education for all staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Long Term Care
- Ability to travel to 2 facilities located in Clintonville, WI and 1 facility located in Wausau, WI; travel will increase based on growth within our market
- Experience as a Director of Nursing at a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred
- 2 to 3 years of leadership experience
- Experience as a Regional / Clinical Skilled Nursing RN Consultant is a PLUS
- Working Knowledge of PCC
- Willingness to teach/mentor C.N.A’s and nursing staff
- Service-oriented individual (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor)
- Electronic Medical Records EMR knowledge needed
