We are seeking a Kitchen Expeditor to join our team! We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding the restaurant’s brand and reputation.
This position involves quality control of the food we prepare, actively assessing how items are coordinating from each station in our kitchen and sending food out to the correct tables with the correct sides and modifications as quickly as possible. It is not a food preparing position or a serving position but something in between. We focus on maintaining the communication between the Front of House staff and Back of House staff so that everything works as efficiently as possible.
Summary of Key Responsibilities

Monitoring ticket times and communicating with the cooks and FOH regarding long times, if stations are getting overwhelmed, or if food items are rang in incorrectly

Checking food items to make sure they are presented correctly and are appropriately temperature controlled (hot foods are hot, cold foods are cold)

Garnishing plates as needed

Communicating with stations about side items that are needed (french fries, chips, upgrades)

Stocking plates for the kitchen stations

Preparing garnishes as needed

Maintaining cleanliness of the U

Making waffles during breakfast and getting soups during lunch

Sending food out to the correct tables with the correct items

Maintaining a positive attitude and helping set the tone with the other staff

Communicating clearly, respectfully, and effectively with coworkers

Performing other duties as needed for the business
